In St Vincent we have been working on understanding the writing process. This involves writing a draft, editing and publishing. Some of our year 3's wrote about the hockey tournament and the year 3's wrote about Cultural Day. We hope you enjoy reading our work.

Shadows, income and being entertainers

Cody S, Adele, Sam Pottage, Cody H and Amber volunteered to share their shadow and money stories at assembly today.

We were proud of them all for using their entertaining clear reading voices and making sure their books did not cover their faces.

We were especially proud of Amber and thought she was super brave to share on her last day at APS.

We will miss you so much, Amber!

What brave choices have you made lately?

Shadow Drawings

When it was school time Amber and I were work buddies. We went outside and
drew our shadows with chalk. After that, we sat in a circle and wrote the words that we needed.
The second day we looked at our shadows again. Some of the chalk had come off the concrete.
Some of our shadows looked a bit taller and to the left side from yesterday.
I know why my shadow changed. It is because the planet was moving.
