We saw some amazing kowhaiwhai patterns at the Suter Gallery last week. We then drew some of the patterns that we particularly liked. After we sketched the outline of a bird in chalk, drew our patterns in chalk in the bird and finally coloured the patters with pastels. An amazing workshop and the Suter is well worth a visit and its free!!!

St Vincent wrote some amazing poems this week about what Halloween meant to them. They then mounted them with some very spooky drawings and we were lucky enough to have some mums come in on Friday afternoon to paint their faces. Don't they look horrible!!!!

What a great day it was on Thursday, the whole school performing at Stage One and then the Library. Well done to all the children.
