Welcome Lanuola Lefale to St Vincent. Lanuola has recently come from Samoa and has her two brothers Benjamin and Nelson at school too. Lanuola is a very happy little girl and is already making friends. Great to have you at Auckland Point School.

In St Vincent we have made a holiday book, to share all our special memories from our holidays. From the book I have chosen 'Author of the Week' and this week it is Arjay Solloway. He wrote about Christmas morning and going into mum's room and finding his bike and also telling us how he felt - completing all the goals of his writing task. Well done Arjay.

  • What a great day it was on Thursday, the whole school performing at Stage One and then the Library. Well done to all the children.
  • We saw some amazing kowhaiwhai patterns at the Suter Gallery last week. We then drew some of the patterns that we particularly liked. After we sketched the outline of a bird in chalk, drew our patterns in chalk in the bird and finally coloured the patters with pastels. An amazing workshop and the Suter is well worth a visit and its free!!!
